Nestora Home began in 2019, in a rented workshop off Andheri West, with three makers, one drawing board, and an idea: that homes in India deserve furniture made honestly and made to last.
Seven years later, we ship across India from the same workshop — a little larger now, a little quieter, still run by the same people. We design in-house, work exclusively with FSC-certified Indian hardwoods, and finish every piece by hand. We do not chase seasons or trends. We release small collections when the work is ready.
More than 50,000 homes across 120 Indian cities live with something we made. That is a number we take seriously. Every Nestora piece carries a signed spec card from the maker who finished it, and a five-year craftsmanship warranty.
Six quiet principles.
We work almost exclusively in solid hardwoods. If we can't build it honestly, we don't build it.
Every piece passes through a small team of makers. No anonymous factory floors.
We add new pieces to the catalogue only when the design is right — usually four or five times a year.
No permanent discounts. What we charge is what it costs to make the piece well.
We keep spares and offer refinishing on every piece we make, for as long as it exists.
